2018 Feminist Night March: Invitation to a Slogan Workshop

THIS SUNDAY, for #8Mart #FeministGeceYürüyüşü, we have our Slogan Workshop !

You filled out the form to say you would like to join; we are so pleased. We share the time and address details and the call below:

Date: Sunday, February 25 / Place: Feminist Mekan; Katip Çelebi Mah. Tel Sk. No: 20/3, Beyoğlu

Time: 14.00-15.30 creating slogans / 16.00-18.00 writing and painting what we create. You can attend the whole workshop or either of its two parts…

Our rebellion, our joy, our words and our music are too great to fit onto or be expressed by a single banner. We have so much to say against interference with our bodies and the exploitation of our labor; the disciplining of our sexuality and the setting of time limits on our presence in the streets; interference with our laughter, clothes and sexual orientation; even the film we watch getting under patriarchy’s skin! We want to be together and write on our placards whatever irritates us, angers us and makes us say “enough already.” Together, with defiant laughter, with solidarity, woman *to woman… We have colorful cardboard, pens and paints. If you also bring alternative materials you might want to use, our slogans will grow richer together…
