To buy from Eminönü:
– banner fabric and shiny fabric
– some decorations
– thick cord (there are purple needles at the venue)
– plastic wrap
– glitter cardboard (perhaps buy fluorescent colored cardboard too if you find it; I once bought some from Üsküdar and brought it, it shone beautifully at night)
– plain cardboard
– perhaps colored pens etc. for decorating placards
Materials that can be bought from Karaköy or Taksim:
– brushes (fine and medium size) (apparently available at the stationery shops behind the fish market)
– tinting color tubes (from the hardware store) (hardware store)
– large-size white water-based white paint, extra-large garbage bags x2, medium-size garbage bags x2. (these can be bought at the hardware store on the venue’s street)
The microphone and megaphone batteries we will buy when we go to Karaköy with Ayşe to buy a wireless microphone. By the way, shall we buy one microphone?
Tape, a stapler and staples, black paint and several kinds of colored paint are available at our venue 🙂
In short, if someone buys the items in the middle section with the brushes, tinting color tubes etc., all our needs will have been met..
