2014: Call for a Social Media Action on March 2
Twitter and Facebook action for March 8 between 21:00 and 22:00
This evening we are putting out a call on Twitter and Facebook for our twelfth March 8 Feminist Night March. We will hold our action between 21:00 and 22:00. Of course, anyone who wants to can go overboard; no harm in that 🙂
For Twitter:
Our hashtag is #FeministGeceYuruyusu (We do not use Turkish characters (ü-ş). Uppercase or lowercase does not matter. But since it is both a proper name and easier to separate and read this way, perhaps we can write it like this.. It was written this way in IFK’s first notes too.)
Suggested slogans are below, but of course anything more is up to your creativity :))
– We call on all women and trans people to gather at Galatasaray on Saturday, March 8, at 19:00 for the feminist night march, which we are holding for the twelfth time this year.
– We are not abandoning the nights, the streets or the squares
– Feminist revoooolt!
– Our bodies, our lives, our decisions are ours; keep your family for yourselves.
