In 2017, as the referendum approached, the Women Are Strong Together campaign group was established to amplify the voice of “No.” That year, the group called for joining, from Turkey, the International Women’s Strike organized on March 8 in Argentina, Italy, Spain, America and many other countries, and actions to join the call were organized in many provinces. In Istanbul, the Feminist Night March also participated in these actions by joining the call for the International Women’s Strike on March 8.
